Crescent United Prevention Club
The Crescent United Prevention Club is a coalition of middle and high school students dedicated to helping their peers make healthy life choices. We provide education regarding teen substance abuse, about national trends in positive character development, communication with peers and adults, and much more. Our students participate in local and regional leadership training events and state prevention summits, and every summer a group of students travels with the Crescent United Coalition leadership team to the national CADCA conference. Our students are able to choose awareness and prevention topics that are of personal interest to them, and delve deeper into these topics at state workshops.
Our Prevention Club also works alongside the Coalition in healthy school and community activities, because our youth are the core of every coalition project.
